Job Description / Responsibility

• VARD has been implementing Comprehensive Eye Care Services through well established four Eye Hospitals located in Sylhet district, Sunamgonj district, Comilla district and Dhaka district. These position are based at VARD Eye Hospital, Sunamgonj (2 Position), VARD Eye Hospital Balagonj Sylhet (2 Position), VARD Kamal Eye Hospital, Chouddagram, Comilla (2 Position) and VARD Eye Hospital, Adabor Dhaka (1 Position).
• 18 (Eighteen) months On-the-Job Training (OJT) will be held at respective eye hospital for selected candidates and after successfully completion of OJT, trainees will be recruited as permanent staff in the respective eye hospital and issue appointment letter. Then he/she will perform the following responsibilities.
• Measure the refraction.
• Determine the proper corrective spectacle.
• Check power of spectacle glass.
• Refer cataract patient or other eye patients to VARD Eye Hospitals.
• Maintain refraction register and other relevant records
• Perform other related duties assigned by VARD management.

• Age 18 to 25 year(s)
• Training time: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (Saturday to Thursday)
• Wiliness to give for additional time/day if required for training
• Local candidates will be given preference.

Other Benefits

During the training period VARD will provide training allowance Tk. 4000/month including fooding, accommodation and including all other costs. Training certificate will issue by VARD after successfully completion of training. Salary Tk. 8000/month and other facilities will be provided as per organization�s policy during the employment period.
